On eres?
today i was with a group of like 20 people going through different parts of an old theater and there were actors in like every room dressed like fairies and gnomes and doing cute stuff, and the very last room was the room where the circus school is so there were a couple trapeze artist and people on the aerial silk and stuff. And the one who talked was like ‘you guys would love to be up there right?’ and I didn’t say anything but I nodded and smiled, like, just for me. And he saw me somehow and said ‘well you can do it, even if you aren’t a fairy. If you aren’t, because maybe you are’. And a guy who was on the aerial silk shouted ‘she kinda looks like a fairy!’ and he just let go of the silk for like a long time (people clapped when he didn’t kill himself falling) and run to me and just got really close and said ‘she is definitely a fairy’.
and this made my day because ya know, fairies are cool
Okay so here’s the deal….I have a job! A full-time sales job! In Boston! WOOOO! It’s pretty great and I really enjoy it! The problem is…..I’m still living with my parents.
This is a problem for a number of reasons:
My parents live in central MA, a two hour commute EVERY DAY to and from Boston
Taking the commuter rail every day is EXPENSIVE, I get paid decently but not that well
Being at the mercy of train times leaves me with little time to do anything for myself and it’s starting to affect me mentally
My home life is less than ideal, as a number of my friends can attest. I’m queer and in a relationship with a trans guy and things can get dangerously explosive around here. At best, it’s mentally unhealthy for me to be here too much longer, at worst it’s actually dangerous.
WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR:
A place within walking distance of public transit
A place that allows small animals (I have a pet hedgehog)
A place with queer-friendly roommates
A place in a relatively safe neighborhood
A place that (preferably) costs less than $750/month including utilities
BONUS: a place with a nerdy roommate(s) who likes cosplay and baked goods
someone in the Boston area who will let me crash on their couch for a while because I just honestly need to get out of this house and soon
Even if you don’t live in MA, if you could signal boost this I would really appreciate it!! <3
I wish I lived with Tori but I’m quite far away from the US so if you know someone in Boston let her know please!
