Just to warn you, that won’t be a look-how-special-i-am-about-me. 

My name is Alba, and I was born the 23rd July 1991. I live in a quite crappy town near to Barcelona. I love Barcelona and I used to hate my town, but then I realised that there are a bunch of amazing people here (like Ana, Roc, Cristina, Mònica, Aroa, Ariadna…). They are really great and I love them very very much, and I’m glad I live next to them. I would love to live next to Max -my boyfriend- too, but he lives quite far from me. That has never been a problem though, as we see each other quite often and I love him to bits.

The Beatles are my favourite group. I can’t describe how I feel about them, I just think they are the best group in the history of music and they actually have a song for every situation of my life. They were amazing musicians AND amazing human beings. I love their music but I also enjoy watching their films or interviews or videos.

A current group I adore is Love of Lesbian. They have the most beautiful songs ever writen in Spanish. And this year I have assisted to a lot (believe me when I say a lot) of their gigs all over Spain. Because of that I have met Carmen, Giuli, Carl, Laura, Carli, Alberto, Anna… And I can tell I’m thankful to Love of Lesbian to give me the chance to meet them because they are fantastic.

I listen to a lot of different music (from Muse and Vampire Weekend to Zahara or Simon&Garfunkel), you can chech my lastfm if you want to. I read a lot and watch a lot of series too. I have way too much free time, even though I’m studying translation at the college. I have the best classmate ever, Clàudia, and we’ve recently found out we have a great amount of things in common. I’m way too lazy to actually do my homework so I spend my afternoons watching TV series like Skins, Misfits, Doctor Who, HIMYM, the Big Bang Theory, Friends, House or Lost.

I’m quite a bookworm. If we are talking about Harry Potter I can be really nerdy. I would most surely be in Ravenclaw. My favourite books are The Book Thief (by Markus Zusak) and The Thief Lord (by Cornelia Funke). And none of them is about actual thieves, if you were asking :D. I really love Roald Dahl. The three books I really NEED to re-read every year are Peter Pan, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Le Petit Prince.

I love Tim Burton. And apart from him, my favourite films are Amélie, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Moulin Rouge, Jeux d’Enfants, Juno, Singing in the Rain, Love Actually, Los amantes del círculo polar, Some Like It Hot, V for Vendetta, Billy Elliot, My life without me, Camino, Lost&Delirious, Across the Universe, My Fair Lady, Up…

And you can find me in almost every social network: facebook, twitter, blogspot, deviantArt, fotolog, formspring… But I just use tumblr and facebook. Because of tumblr I’ve made some wonderful friends, like Julia, Xanthe, Katie, Paul or Natalie . And I’m really happy to know them :)
